Anthropic introduced Claude in March 2023. It was the first public release of its large language model.
Anthropic launched a major expansion of Claude with new job-specific plugins designed to automate work across HR, banking, finance, equity research, private equity, engineering, and operations. The update allows Claude to function as a specialised AI agent embedded directly into enterprise workflows, thus eliminating the need for employees to switch between tools or manually transfer outputs.
HR teams can now generate offer letters, onboarding plans, performance reviews, and compensation analyses.
Investment banking and equity research teams can review documents, update financial models, and draft pitch materials or research notes. Private equity teams can automate diligence by extracting financial data and modelling scenarios.
Companies can personalise these plugins, build internal marketplaces, and manage everything through a new customised dashboard.
Anthropic also expanded integrations with Google Workspace, Slack, DocuSign, FactSet and more. Additionally, a new Remote Control feature in Claude Code lets developers continue local coding sessions across devices without cloud storage.
