19 Jan 2024

The Kolkata-based fast food chain, founded in 2008, reported a 93% revenue growth from ₹222 crore to ₹415 crore between FY2022 and FY2023.

Wow! Momo is the only homegrown chain competing and surviving in the league of big brands like Domino's, KFC, and McDonald’s in India. After reporting a 93% hike in revenue, the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand opened 190 new outlets nationwide and plans to add up to 180 by March. It currently operates 620 stores PAN India.

It launched Wow! China in 2019, contributing around ₹14 crore in revenue monthly, and Wow! Chicken in 2022, that adds ₹3 crore revenue per month. All Wow! Momo outlets are company owned and run.

Wow! Momo produces 10 lakh momos daily in its facilities in the north, west, and east. It sells frozen momos under the brand Wow! Momo Sales and recently launched Wow! Eats combining all three brands. It earns 44% of its revenue from online orders, including 10% from direct orders from ONDC, and it plans to increase them via its own app.
