< Back Royal Enfield EV to launch in the first quarter of 2026 3 Jun 2025 The electric bike has been showcased many times, even at EICMA, the world’s biggest motorcycle trade show held every year in Milan. Flying Flea C6, Royal Enfield’s new EV, was set up for an exclusive event at Officine del Volo, Milan, where a select few influencers and media got a private preview. This built anticipation before the bike’s public debut at EICMA. The Flying Flea C6 is positioned as a retro-futuristic electric bike, less than 110 kg, with a forged aluminium frame, a round touchscreen display, a Snapdragon processor to enable over-the-air updates, and customisable ride modes. Royal Enfield began developing it two years ago as a part of its Rebalance strategy, to balance electric and fossil-fuel-based products. Flying Flea was originally a 59 kg WWII motorcycle, designed to be air-dropped via parachute to help the British army cross enemy lines and fight Nazis during the Normandy landings in 1940. The Flying Flea C6 will be a sub-product aimed at an audience different from Royal Enfield’s traditional customer base. Never miss another post from SalestorrsNews150. - US Airlines saving time and costs with new strategies and tools | Salestors.com
< Back US Airlines saving time and costs with new strategies and tools 27 Nov 2023 While the time saved may look insignificant, it reduced costs and higher operational efficiency for an industry that is perpetually bleeding. Airlines in the US have started relying on various tech and strategies to help save time, which could translate to reduced costs and better operating efficiency. American Airlines deployed Machine Learning for flight gate allocation to save an average of two minutes of taxi time for every flight, a reduction of 20%, and hours of gate planning time. This translated as up to 11 hours saved daily, and numerous gate changes and conflicts cut down drastically. Airlines have also saved 1.4 million gallons of fuel annually and reduced CO2 emissions by 13,400 metric tonnes per year. Besides, United Airlines saved two minutes per flight by boarding economy class passengers first, followed by the middle and the aisle. Southwest Airlines uses better signage and music on the bridge for faster boarding. Frontier has started using staircases directly to and from its Airbus’ second door to expedite boarding. - Why Unified Code for Pharma Marketing Practices is difficult to implement | Salestors.com
< Back Why Unified Code for Pharma Marketing Practices is difficult to implement 19 Mar 2024 The government implemented on March 12th a new code, UCPMP, to curb unethical practices in the pharma industry. The Unified Code for Pharma Marketing Practices (UCPMP) prohibits pharmaceutical companies from bribing doctors with paid foreign trips and hospitality stays, personal gifts for them and family members, monetary gifts for doctors, agents or distributors, or any cash payments or grants for doctors and their family members. It mandates that individual companies disclose any sponsorships for conferences and medical courses. However, there is no portal setup to report this. Industry experts believe this Code will be less effective since it is non-statutory and not enforced by a regulatory authority. It is not a law, and players in the Indian pharmaceutical industry will easily beat around it to incentivise medical professionals. Pharma associations need to form an ethics committee and create a portal linked to the pharma department, which will house an independent panel to audit such expenses. A code breach can lead to suspension of the entity from the association. Previous Next

- IT industry and AI, limited by unlimited liability | Salestors.com
< Back IT industry and AI, limited by unlimited liability 2 Jun 2025 Clients demand that IT firms take full liability for all mistakes their AI systems make. AI works probabilistically, which makes its outcomes unpredictable. More businesses expect global IT firms to include an ‘unlimited liability’ clause in their contracts to protect themselves against potential errors and resulting outcomes, and to negotiate more favourable agreements. IT firms are hesitant because of the fear of enormous financial repercussions. This is leading to prolonged or cancelled deals. A customer sued Air Canada after its chatbot produced misleading information, which went against the airline's policy. Lawyers representing Anthropic, an AI firm, apologised to a US Federal Court for an erroneous citation by their LLM, Claude. Reportedly, a prominent Indian IT firm walked away from the deal with a European Bank on the same grounds. Usually, IT operations and software development are considered low risk, and their contracts do not include unlimited liability clauses. In more regulated sectors, like insurance and energy, liability is capped at a percentage of contract value. Never miss another post from SalestorrsNews150. - ChatGPT’s Sora: The text-to-video conversion AI tool | Salestors.com
< Back ChatGPT’s Sora: The text-to-video conversion AI tool 26 Feb 2024 Sora uses your texts to understand your video requirements. It can create videos of varying lengths, sizes, and shapes. OpenAI launched a text-to-video generator, Sora, in early February. It uses a diffusion model to break down your text input and create a video. It can generate complex scenes with multiple characters, varied backgrounds, and motions. The tool shows an advanced understanding of how things exist naturally and their physical behaviour. It can also understand human language and create characters showing specified emotions. Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, invited several social media professionals to try out the new app, and the responses were ecstatic. The videos seemed real-life-like. But this also raised several issues about the societal implications of this technology. Currently, Sora is mainly available for Red Teamers, the cybersecurity professionals who act as enemies to assess the associated risks. Many designers, filmmakers, and visual artists are also given access to try out Sora. Meta and Google are working on similar tools. Previous Next
