- SoftBank sells its entire Nvidia stake | Salestors.com
< Back SoftBank sells its entire Nvidia stake 12 Nov 2025 It sold 32.1 million shares worth $5.8 billion in October. SoftBank aims to fund its CEO, Masayoshi Son’s, AI investments in OpenAI and the Stargate data centre project worth $500 billion. Its entire stake sale in Nvidia pushed the market down by 2%. This is the second time SoftBank has exited Nvidia. Its Vision Fund, an early investor in Nvidia, bought a $4 billion stake in 2017 and sold it in January 2019. Scepticism is ripe around the AI bubble. Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Michael Burry, the short-seller, have warned about the overvaluation of AI stocks. CoreWeave, a US-based cloud computing company, has recently revised its revenue forecast from $5.15-5.35 billion to $5.05-5.15 billion, thus missing the Wall Street forecast of $5.29 billion. SoftBank also sold its T-Mobile stock, worth $9.2 billion, to divert funds toward AI apps. SoftBank’s rising interest is boosting the valuation of OpenAI, which is also preparing for a possible trillion-dollar IPO. Check out my new book, THE BLACK FLAMES , on Amazon Kindle. - Quick commerce industry to hike gross order value to $10 billion by FY26 | Salestors.com
< Back Quick commerce industry to hike gross order value to $10 billion by FY26 9 Sept 2024 Zomato’s Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart hold over 90% of the q-commerce market share. The q-commerce industry is expected to log a gross order value of USD10 billion by FY26 and surpass USD78 billion in the next decade. This market is estimated at USD 662 billion in FY24, which is 66% of the total retail market. At a 3% net profit margin, the industry could accumulate a profit of USD 2.3 billion in the next ten years. The sector’s expansion into new services, including high-end electronics, is spiking the average order values and improving economics. The fragmented retail market, fast urbanisation, and the q-commerce industry’s ability to bypass the middlemen make it an alternative to local kiranas. Inspired by this growth, logistics companies like Shadowfax, Ecom Express, and Loadshare are starting to offer superfast deliveries. Delhivery, the third largest e-commerce logistics provider in India, announced its plans to open a series of dark stores offering same-city deliveries within two to four hours. Previous Next

- New data law mandates age verification for all companies | Salestors.com
< Back New data law mandates age verification for all companies Ishita Nigam 16 Oct 2023 Not only social media or edtech platforms but all companies will have to deploy age gating mechanisms for website visitors. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) mandates that all companies besides social media and edtech platforms deploy age gating or verification mechanisms for all customers to ensure minors don’t browse online without parental consent. The law specifies that personal data of kids and persons with disabilities should be processed only with parental or guardian consent. The age gating clause stipulates that companies must know who visits them online and secure their verifiable consent. This has triggered a series of doubts among businesses. Industry experts translate this as all companies must deploy age gating measures involving a three-step verification of the child’s age, the parental identity, and proving that the two are related. Another popular question is whom to approach for parental consent – the father or the mother, as government IDs usually have the father’s name as the listed parent. Previous Next

- Indians can now cancel, modify air tickets within 48-hour | Salestors.com
< Back Indians can now cancel, modify air tickets within 48-hour 2 Mar 2026 The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) revised norms after rising complaints about delayed refunds and disruptions in late 2025. The Indian passengers now have a 48-hour “Look‑in” window to cancel or modify air tickets without extra charges, making air travel more flexible and consumer-friendly. The DGCA’s revised norms require airlines to allow free changes or cancellations within this period, except for fare differences when shifting to another flight. Airlines must also permit name corrections within 24 hours at no additional cost. This benefit applies only if the booking is made directly on an airline’s website and the flight is at least 7 days away for domestic or 15 days for international travel. Refund responsibility lies with airlines even when tickets are booked through travel agents, and all refunds must be processed within 14 working days .
