< Back Myntra to reduce the Return Fees before the festive season Ishita Nigam 20 Sept 2023 The fashion e-tailer was levying a flat fee of ₹199 to ₹299 per order from Myntra users, who triggered more returns than the average customer. Myntra plans to reduce the flat convenience fee of ₹199 to ₹299 per order for customers with a higher number of product returns than the average user. These customers form around 2% to 5% of the overall active user base, which goes live on Myntra’s website at least once a year. The move comes in as the festive season approaches. It plans to reduce the flat fee to ₹15 to ₹30 per order once the user exhausts the number of free returns. High volume of registrations from students who craved more after watching their free YouTube sessions. This formula got PhysicsWallah levitating above the others. The humble physics tutor, who commenced classes in 2020, reported a revenue of ₹ 24 crores in FY 2021 that jumped to ₹800 crores in FY 2023. They focus on quality content for low prices. Their significant amount of YouTube content hooked the students at the bottom of the academic pyramid. - Trump’s Pro-Russia, Anti-Russia stance | Salestors.com
< Back Trump’s Pro-Russia, Anti-Russia stance 5 Aug 2025 Imports of several minerals and metals from Russia are at a steady rise despite the Oval Office’s building pressure on New Delhi. US imports from Russia increased 23% year-on-year to $2.1 billion between 2025 and May. The US International Trade Commission (USITC) reports that fertiliser imports from Russia rose 21%, uranium by 28% for its nuclear industry, and palladium by 37% for EV manufacturing this year. EU, too, logged goods trade worth €67.5 billion with Russia in 2024. Trump’s backlash at India, as per global analysts, is due to the building frustration after the diplomatic outreach efforts with Russia collapsed. Trump announced he would end the Ukraine War in one week of taking office. He sent his close aide, Steve Witkoff, to Moscow four times for direct negotiations with the Russian officials. In February 2025, the US blocked a UN resolution, which condemned Russia as the aggressor in the Ukraine War, and proposed a counter-resolution omitting any mention of Russian aggression. When the shocked EU nations included “full-scale invasion” in the counter-resolution, the US abstained from voting for its own proposal. After repeated defeats to get Moscow to agree, Trump self-declared August 8 th a non-negotiable deadline for Russia to stop the aggression in Ukraine. Never miss another post from SalestorrsNews150. - Jio to launch satellite internet in India | Salestors.com
< Back Jio to launch satellite internet in India 15 Jun 2024 Orbit Connect India, a joint venture between Jio Platforms and Luxembourg-based SES, will provide satellite internet across India. Orbit Connect India secured the approval of the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) to offer satellite internet across India. It gathered three approvals between April and June 2024, which allowed it to position satellites above India. However, it will need more approvals, for instance, from the Department of Telecommunications, to begin operations. Amazon’s Kuiper and Elon Musk-owned Starlink are still awaiting approval to offer satellite internet in India. The British Satellite Telecom firm Immarsat and OneWeb, backed by Eutelsat Bharti Enterprises, also obtained approval from IN-SPACe to operate satellite internet in India. Given the demand for satellite internet, especially in rural India, the market is expected to grow by 36% to reach ₹16,000 crore in the next five years. Elon Musk's cancellation of his visit to India in April and departure to Beijing instead seems to have hit a nerve with the government. Previous Next
